A range of great value hand made cigars from Cuba to kick off the spring season.

One Jose Piedra Brevas Cigar ; 5 1/4 inch by 42 Ring Gauge Remedios is the oldest tobacco growing region in Cuba and a Protected Denomination of Origin. The soil and climate of the region produce tobacco with a distinctive character and flavour. Today Jose L. Piedra has the exclusive use of this unique tobacco for its cigars. The flavours are often described as dense, robust and tangy. Production method: Totally handmade using short leaves sourced from Remedios, Cuba One Flor De Cano Elegidos Cigar; 4 3/4 inch by 48 Ring Gauge The Elegidos is a relatively new cigar, having been launched in 2020 and introduced into the UK market in May 2022 at the Ignite Trade show. It is the only size from La Flor de Cano that is available in the UK and so offers a unique opportunity to sample the brand’s distinctive blend, composed of Vuelta Abajo and Semi Vuelta tobacco. Production method: Totally handmade using short filler tobacco leaves sourced from the Vuelta Abajo and Semi Vuelta zones of Cuba One Vegueros Centrogordas Cigar; 3 7/8ths inch by 54 Ring Gauge Harvesting a single plant takes around 30 days, starting at the bottom and slowly working up leaving days in between each picking. This method of harvesting accentuates the natural difference between the older, less flavoursome leaves at the bottom and the younger, more potent leaves at the top. It also allows the top leaves to reach full maturation. The days left between harvesting different layers of leaves on the plant are the Entretiempos, the “between times”. This stout cigar delivers the intense and unique Vegueros taste in a format made famous by the Montecristo Petit Edmundo, released in 2006. American publication Cigar Aficionado reviewed the Entretiempos and awarded it a score of 90 out of a possible 100, saying: There's a reddish tinge to the wrapper of this robusto, which is hearty and rich, offering plenty of earth and spice character balanced by notes of chocolate Production method: Totally handmade using short leaves sourced from Remedios, Cuba .
