Made wholly in Cuba with Cuban wrapper, binder and filler tobaccos, the Galanes offers a hand-made experience even in this compact size.

The flavour is described as refined and accessible: cereal and wood dominate the early burn, with hints of vanilla and cream emerging before transitioning into oak, caramel and subtle cedar in the later stages.

Por Larranaga is a brand with a long history. Founded in 1834, it enjoys a well earned reputation for its consistency and good presentation. It is the oldest handmade brand Havanas still being rolled in Cuba today. In 1890 the brand received further attention when Rudyard Kipling included the assertion that “There’s peace in a Larranaga” in his famous poem “The Betrothed”. Por Larranaga cigars are hand made using tobacco grown in the Vuelta Abajo region. The cigars are Tripa Larga (long filler) and carry the distinct aromas found in this light to medium brand.
